Advance Quality Planning (AQP)/Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) AQP responsibilities: New Product- Follow AQP tasks from the PDP procedure
- Ensure that PDP procedure is followed by project team
SQE responsibilities:
This can be done through tools as:
- Training provided to suppliers (8D, 5 why)
- Meetings with suppliers
- Communication of the requirements to suppliers, using Quality Manual for example
- Score cards sent to suppliers
- Follow AQP tasks from the PDP procedure
- Ensure that PDP procedure is followed by project team
Evaluate suppliers
- New supplier’s evaluation
- Supplier’s ranking
Supplier’s audits Supplier’s audits planning based on:
- Supplier ranking
- Date of last audit/visit at the supplier
- Actual QNs
- Availability/knowledge of the plants Quality engineers
- Record and track the suppliers’ audits
- Accomplish supplier’s audits using a standard formats
QNs
Bring support to the plants Quality supplier engineers in case they have issue solving a QN with a supplier.
New projects
Bring support to Quality planners to ensure that AQP requirements are followed:
- Process audit is done at supplier at run at rate
- PPAP is presented by the supplier
Required experience and knowledge:
- Education as Engineer or Technician
- English language skills fluent
· Additional education/training in Quality:
PPAP, FMEA, Process audit, ISO TS 16949, SPC, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001
· PC user
· Technical background or relevant
· 3 years of experience in Advance Quality Planning
